Full-featured home entertainment systems don't get much more affordable or much more fun than the Philip MX6050D. The system includes a Dolby Digital/DTS-capable surround sound receiver with an integrated single-disc-DVD/CD player, as well as 4 compact satellite speakers, a 5-driver slim center speaker, and a dedicated low-frequency subwoofer for full throttle theater excitement. The DVD drive plays DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, and VCD/SVCD, in addition to MP3 CDs and JPEG image CDs.Video features include picture zoom, multi-angle viewing, and parental lock. Cinema Center Speaker delivers spacious sound and brings a wider sweet spot through no less than 5 drivers positioned at different angles. These drivers give more depth in sound by clearly distinguishing front from background sound and action from dialogue so even the slightest sound detail will not pass by unnoticed.
Color-coded connectors provide a simple and user-friendly way to connect the speakers and subwoofer to the center unit of the home entertainment system simply by plugging the connectors in the matching colored-interface at the rear of the center unit.
